Delaware — Gov. John Carney adds two modifications to state of emergency effective start March 24.Early next week, Carney and Delaware public schools will announce next steps on school closures. Gov. Carney ordered Delawareans to stay at home whenever possible and closed all nonessential businesses to help fight the spread of coronavirus March 22. These were the fourth and fifth modifications to his state of emergency declaration. Pennsylvania— Tom Wolf, governor of Pennsylvania, ordered all non-“life sustaining” businesses to close physical operations at midnight on March 20. The order will remain in effect until further notice. Non-internet newspaper publishing is determined as a “life sustaining business” and can remain open.
